Good location if you don't want to be on the beach. Near shops, restaurants and on the waterfront. Nice view from the room which was light and airy, comfortable bed.
Bathroom door had a sticky lock ... ordered a room service breakfast and got locked in the bathroom. Took about an hour to get out, by which time the breakfast...
Having stayed in an admittedly very nice, but standard international beach hotel in Flic en Flac, we were keen to see a different side to the island and this was an ideal choice. The hosts, Jean and John-Michel create a very relaxed and welcoming, homely atmosphere, are knowledgeable on the island and were happy to assist with planning our activities...
This is a new hotel. It is opposite the racecourse and thus convenient for that, but a 20 minute walk from the city centre, which is not advisable after dark.
The hotel was nothing special. The room was poorly lit and contained bathroom, bed, chair table and wardrobe. No drinks available in your room and no mini bar to keep...
For a high class hotel, the service was not as great as expected. The internet didn't work in the room (even when paying for it) and for people staying on business, this is critical. Additionally, they offered us a 'sunset cruise' but gave us the wrong time and the boat left without even attempting to find us despite having booked...
