Hotels in George, South Africa

Truely awful! Our room whilst huge smelt musty! and looked like a very bog standard complex. The food in the restaurant (just the one!) was bland and had a very small basic menu. It caters to a very western market. We did use the roman baths and had a partners massage which were very good. The staff were very good...

As a 3 star one could not expect too much but the bedding was not clean and we found hairs on the pillows and in the ice. Not good for any establishment.

Wonderful stafff who can't do enough for you. Drawbacks are that while some rooms have shower heads taking a shower is difficult. Bar closes very early but staff very willing to suggest local watering holes. Swimming pool was smaller than the web site perhaps made it appear, but overall it was a very postive stay and I would stay here...
