The stay at misty waves was an enjoyable experience. The staff were friendly and very helpful, the room was beautiful and the breakfast was amazing. While there it is a must to take part in at least one activity with the Hermanus forest adventures. Definitely worth everything to spend the weekend at this great hotel.

Harbour house definately commands one of the most spectacular spots on the South African coast line and the rooms are beautifully decorate, with clean and crisp linen. the only possible fault could be the tiny although sleek little television. The collaboration with the Burgundy retaurant is a definate plus, and I can recommendt this establishment with pride to anyone.

What we liked: room with a balcony and a view of the waters. Lovely! Nice breakfast, cooked fresh in the morning and very friendly hosts. What we didn't like as much: wifi was only at the lounge and there was no satellite TV in the rooms. But the biggest issue was the bed was saggy...we were rolling towards the middle...

This hotel is very well located right on Marine Drive overlooking the ocean. Thats about all it has to recommend it unfortunately. The decor is desparately in need of substantial revamp and appears dingy and in parts even dirty ( eg carpets). The breakfast is fairly poor quality. For the price its expensive and its worth looking at other alternatives...

We booked into this room on a special offer, expecting it to be basic. It was actually very good. Modern decor, huge size room, v. comfy bed. The bathroom arrangement is slightly odd - share only if you're not shy! There's no wall seperating shower, bath and dual sink from the bedroom, although there is a blind. The loo is...

My family and I stayed one night over a very busy long weekend. The hotel staff was friendly, helpful and organised. Our rooms were beautiful and luxurious. The staff was very helpful in organising out-of-hotel transport, quick checkout, etc. Although the seafood restaurant was expensive, the food and service was excellent with well stocked wine list.

We just returned from a 2 night say at this hotel and after having such high expectation due to all the "5* reviews" from everywhere we were totally disappointed and after our horrific experience this for us is definitely a 2* hotel! Pity the standard have really lowered since been taken over by African Prides. We had booked to celebrate...
