I stayed for a week at this hotel. It presents itself as a 4 star hotel so I was surprised to find my room lacked airconditioning and the furniture was reasonably worn. Given the price paid it was poor value. The pool, gardens, restaurant and tennis court are very good which made up for the room. Next time I will...
TV, air-con and kettle did not work. New guest tried to access my room at midnight and was woken by the front desk enquiring "who I was!" Not pleasant with a 0400 wake up call! Poor value for the charge but probably the best available.
I went there just today ready to check in for 5 nights. The manager thought a nap was more important and told the lady there that the fee would be $90 per night. I stated the price on the internet was listed as $57, but all I got was a shoulder shrug. I actually found a MUCH better guest house...
On the first night there was a trickle of water, however, from the second none at all. rather worryingly the restaurant was still serving food. I later discovered that they had two tanks and had only purchased water for the one covering downstairs. I left after three days.
We didn't spend the night at the hotel as we were on our way to trek gorillas. Instead we grabbed a bite of lunch at the poolside bar. It offers a great view across the city with the pool in the foreground. The posh environment & speedy lunch service is perfect for a business luncheon but don't linger long lest...
When we arrived we had to fight for a nice room for 150 USD / night which was finally given to us after spending half an hour convincing the reception that we were going to stay for 4 nights. We were tired and for that price we thought we would have a good room nevertheless. 24th dinner buffet was awful,...
OK, I was working for an NGO on a project I believed in so wanted to stay in a mid-range hotel to keep costs down. I sometimes stay top notch and also completely rough so I am happy with either as long as the place delivers what it promises. Frankly, everything in this place was broken. The room had no...
There is really nothing good I can write about this hotel except for the nice Indian food they serve. I arrived in my room and it had just been sprayed heavily with some insect repellent -- I could not breathe and had to change room. Second room was full of extremely big cockroaches. I freaked out and was ready to...
Squalid rooms, dirty, smelly, bed bugs. Bathrooms even worse, disgusting, dirty showers patched up with tape, yellow water. Air conditioners only remain on for 15 mins before auto shut off so you are constantly turning it back on. Absurdly, they have a security check at the main entrance but then each and every emergency exit is wedged open allowing free...
