We arrived in Cape Town following a four day safari ready to rest and relax. We were greeted by a front desk clerk that seemed surprised that we were standing in front of him. Once checked in (very cumbersome and lengthy) we got to our room. While the rooms are nice, it's definitely time for a freshen up - at...
Our whole stay - from booking to checking out - was truly memorable. For an establishment with only one year's experience, The Residence is doing a superb job. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent, and we prefer this small menu (executed brilliantly) to any larger hotel's often extensive menus. Great wine list, good range. I agree with another reviewer's comment:...
After spending four nights on honeymoon on safari, we stayed at the peech ready for the next part of our journey.
The hotel was very clean with iPod deck and wifi, but lacked any luxury and warmth, feeling more like an apartment block.
The food was very good with a good menu choice and set at a reasonable price.

We stayed at this hotel for a work conference and the venue was a superb location for convenience and catered to all the conference needs, also the staff were extremely courteous and helpful. They were also accomodating to allow for teh late evening "socialising" which ran till the early hours of the morning.Overall a superb smallish, intimate break away venue.
I stayed at this All Suite Hotel in May for 2 days and to be fair, they were in the middle of renovations, so it all seemed rather disorganised and noisy and dusty eveywhere. I was given an old one bedroom apartment at the end of a passage - there was old furniture just past my door on a heap,...
If you like weird room design (as I see some of the reviewers do) where the shower and handbasin are actually in the bedroom and not in a separate one, then this is definitely for you. If you like badly lighted lifts that feel like a morgue then this place is definitely for you. If you like being swamped by...
This should be listed as a 1 star and not a 3*. It is tired looking, quality is below acceptable, rooms were smelly, bathroom facilities are shocking. You add R100 and you have luxury accommodation in Sandton. Food is terrible ! You pay R150 for dinner, and they serve your food in plastic containers.
I would not recommend this to...
