Best decision ever for Christmas!! Impossible to fault. A very warm welcome from Liz and the staff, the rooms comfortable, nay, luxurious, the setting perfect with mature trees and birds everywhere. Such dedicated, personal attention that one almost hesitated to mention the smallest whim, since it was sure to appear. Indeed, there were few whims as everything had been thought...

We managed two brief stays in ten days at Delia's charming place. Each room, the cottage and the common dining room exuded a considerate, distinctive charm. Delia's hospitality and that if her staff is warm and gracious. Cannot imagine staying anywhere else on a future trip to Joburg.

If you aren't an independent traveler, this might be a good option. We certainly found more than a hint of the "old" South Africa here, particularly in some of the comments made by the proprietor. Walking distance to mall, comfortable rooms.
