De Waterkant House
Cape Town, South Africa

Location was good, but the hotel was absolutely no good value for money. Rooms were poor, dirty, small, old and with fungus. You'll get vouchers for breakfast, but you have to pay extra to get a full breakfast. Really strange. Staff was unfriendly, lazy and chaotic. We would absolutely not recommend this place.

Floreal House
Cape Town, South Africa

For a 4-star hotel, the family apartment is really poor. 2 kids had to sleep on a sleeping-couch which was way too short, the adultroom was small and besides that the only way to the bathroom. Next to the apartment renovation works were going on! Friendly people, good breakfast!

The Westin Cape Town
Cape Town, South Africa

I was looking forward very much to staying at the Westin, but to my dismay, they refused to allow me to have my 15 year old son stay with us in the executive room. They have a very strict policy that all children above 12 must have a separate room, no rollaway beds and no sharing existing bedding, even for...

27 Bellevue Street
Cape Town, South Africa

27 Bellevue Street is self-catering with shared kitchen and outside area. I stayed for two weeks in early December. The booking site state they accept credit cards. This is not the case, you are directed to another property in Tamberskloof, managed by the same company, to make payment. The room was not serviced during my stay although the 'manager' and...

Rosedene Lodge
Cape Town, South Africa

I have to say that when we walked into the Rosedene Lodge I was very disappointed - from the pictures on the website, I expected a bigger, more open home. There was a bit of a muddle up regarding our rooms and one couple was assigned a room with what looked like a 3/4 bed. Not great! However, Teacher was...

Stayed at the holiday inn express on a recent trip to cape town . The location of the hotel is very convenient , on a pedestrian only street , next to the Taj and across the stretfrom the Mandela Rhodes apart hotel. Very nice shopping on the street below. We stayed in a family room which we found to be...

More Quarters
Cape Town, South Africa

We stayed here for 4 nights in February, 2012. The apartment was spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The couch and chair in the sitting area were old and needed to be replaced. The cushion in the couch was so warn that the steel frame protruded through making the couch too uncomfortable to use. It wasn't a...

Cape Standard
Cape Town, South Africa

This is our 3rd time at Capestandard, we wouldn't stay anywhere else. It's a lovely convenient place, within easy reach of the Waterfront. The owner David and his assistant Margot are friendly and efficient, nothing is too much trouble. David even ran my husband down to the Avis office because he couldn't get a taxi. The breakfast is one of...

Fairways on the Bay
Cape Town, South Africa

Stayed here for 5 nights at the end of our SA vacation. Camps Bay is the area to stay in Cape Town ; beautiful beach with a nice relaxed vibe and a great selection of places to eat or have a sundowner. When we booked this hotel I was a little apprehensive as there seemed to be very few reviews....

Cape Riviera
Cape Town, South Africa

We stayed here for 3 nights in November 2011. We thought the staff (especially Lisa) were very friendly and helpful. They gave wonderful restaurant recommendations, one of which was possibly our favorite dinner in Cape Town. The hotel is like an old charming colonial house, very warm and intimate. The room was large and had a wonderful bathroom (the bathtub...

Cape Town, South Africa

We stayed here for several days before setting off on an African overland trip and we're so glad we did. The rooms are new, clean and nicely decorated. The management is lovely and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The personalized service here makes it so welcoming and comfortable. We noticed they have many...

Epic Guest House
Cape Town, South Africa

I had the pleasure of staying at Epic enabled guest house in Nooredhoek, a B&B nestled between the mountains and sea on the cape peninsular approximately 20 km from cape town. Having previously visited Cape Town where i stayed at a water front hotel which offered a very poor attempt of wheelchair accessible room. I can now vouch that this...
