We stayed here in Feb 2012. I was with my wife and three daughters aged 13,10 and 6. My daughters are well travelled and very well behaved.
We booked based on trip advisor.
I have to say that in terms of value for money and the service offered by Colleen it would be very hard to critisise. We were accommodated...
After an amazing trip up the garden route, we arrived at Bradach and were upgraded to their "prestigious honeymoon suite". We found the room and house had a damp dusty smell. The room was old fashioned and we simply could not wait to leave. Very over priced too. No staff were available to attend to us. I would not recommend...
We stayed at Point Lodge for 2 nights in January while on our honemoon. It was in a great location so we could easily explore Knysna. There is a pool at the B&B with nice views of the water. The rooms were spacious but a little run down. Service was great - everyone was very friendly. The only real compliant...
The house is certainly in an excellent location looking over Knysna and the Theson Island development. We didn't really "click" with the style and atmosphere and for that reason alone I would not recommend it. Having said that, the staff are delightful and the breakfast was one of the best we had while touring SA. Dinner however was more hotel...
Our family stayed at this property last week. Before traveling there I reviewed this web site and the hotels website and was quite excited to stay. This hotel is misrepresented on their website and frankly I have to wonder who in their right mind would give this hotel a 4! We arrived at the location and the grounds are beautiful....
We stayed in the Cottage at Narnia during the weekend of 24 & 25 September 2011, as my husband was participating in a 100km mountain bike challenge. Our booking was for bed & breakfast. Breakfast being charged at R75 per head, being the rate when our booking was made.
The owner, Stella Sohn, offered to pack my husband a breakfast...
Thank you for your hospitality!
The views are worth a million and available from every part of the property. All the members of the staff were accommodating; right from our request for late check-in to substituting some things in the breakfast menu with an omelette for my wife who is a vegetarian.
The stay was comfortable and there was nothing...
We stayed in oct. for 3 nights at Paradise House. The room was nice and had a beautifull view.
Johan and Zita are nice hosts and are very helpfull to give you a pleasant stay.
Having just returned from our 4th time staying at The River Club, we had a really awesome time.We been visiting for the last 7 years. From a self catering point of view and recreation, we thoroughly enjoy the home away from home feel. The furniture, bath with shower, and technology in terms of appliances could perhaps use an upgrade after...
Rooms are very clean ; we enjoy our experience in amber guest lodge. Spotless guest lodge close to the Heads with beautiful views. Breakfast was delicious with homemade muffins !The location is perfect, it 10 minutes driving from the downtown and overlooking to the lagoon
I dont have much to say about this great place .. I strongly recommend it.
I booked this after reading rave reviews about this property. The rooms were excellent, breakfast was amazing and over all the manageress- Lia- was extremely friendly and helpful.
We did have few service issues whilst we stayed there but all where promptly and adequately addressed after we pointed them out.
The title says it all. What a place - I loved it and I want to go back! We stayed there in early January. We were 2 adults and 2 children. We stayed in the upstairs apartment and the view was amazing. I just wanted to sit on the deck and look at the view.
The apartment was very comfortable....
Yves & Charmaine are the most welcoming & accomodating of hosts. I felt so priviledged to share in their beautiful home and they couldn't do enough to make our stay in Knysna more comfortable and exciting!
We arrived 8 p.m. in February 2012. We was happy to get the last room. The room was ok for one night. Not very much space, but very friendly service, good breakfast and a very nice terrace.
We spent 2 nights in Waterfront lodge. It was a great stay. The rooms are lovely - clean and pretty. The staff is very welcoming and helpful - they gave us great recommendation for our stay. The location is great, good breakfast. If we were ever to reach Knysna again, we will surely stay there again.
Stayed here at the end of a safari vacation to recoup and relax with family before a long flight home. The staff was amazing. There were 3 or 4 people buzzing around to make sure our stay was comfortable and complete. The private castle is on a very uncrowded beach on the Indian Ocean. There is a nearby river that...
