This hotel is housed in an attractive facility...all the surfaces and superficials say luxury, but the execution of actual hospitality is less than perfect. The restaurant and reception areas on the second floor glow with marble. The sleeping rooms are somewhat small, but have comfortable beds and reasonably equipped bathrooms. Stayed here again for the the 3rd time in 14 months for 10 days. Very good hotel if you're based in Sandton. Attentive staff, a small number of rooms not to be a number, swimming pool. Just noisy birds in the morning.

AtholPlace is a real boutique hotel. Yo could just as well be in your own home but with added luxury. The chef is excellent, the rooms incredibly comfortable and quiet and the gardens and pool a joy to linger in.
