I only have one advice, don't go there.
We arranged a shuttle from the airport to the hotel, but they did not show up.
On arrival by taxi, they tried to let is pay again, everything was prepaid already, and the roomrate was much much higher than agreed.
Very disappointing service. We had to leave tot search for another hotel...
I stayed at this hotel (apartments) in early February 2012. Due to the facts below, I was promised a refund for 1 night. They claimed that they could not refund via my credit card but had to credit my bank account, I still haven't received payment almost a month later and every time I query I get a new excuse,...
Incredibly basic hotel. NO air con, no safe in the room, no fridge. No net curtains, so my curtains had to be shut due to being able to see into the car park across the street and watch people collect their cars.
The bathroom had visible damp issues- bubbled and mouldy walls, and black mould on the ceilings- all due...
We stayed 3 nights from 4th-7th Feb 2012. in a 'luxury' room;spacious it was but not luxurious-very basic. The property is badly maintained;Jocks Tap the 'bar' is a very untidy office;the breakfasts were very mediocre;the small patio & gardens were dirty & not maintained & the swimming pool was not much bigger than a cattle trough. We have also written to Portfolio...
This was a lovely hotel with contemporary decorations, and a great location right near the harbor. It gets confused with a sister hotel, so try to be clear with the Cab drivers. The breakfast was excellent, both buffet and ordering and the view from it was also lovely of table top mountain.
This is not a full service hotel, so...
We stayed 8 nights and we had a lot of problems!
The rooms are spacious, but not enough place to store clothes.
Bathroom (not toilet) did not have a door.
We had to ask for toiletries (shampoo, etc.) 3 days in a row at the reception.
Fire drill was preformed, but not pre-announced. We ran down the stairs, only to...
With Anita and Martin as perfect hosts plus Banda and Janet taking care of our every need we were in the hands of a winning team. Our 6 day visit in June 2012 was enjoyable. Memories of the mountain views from balcony will remain with us forever.

Lovely guesthouse tucked in quiet Noordhoek. Beautiful views overlooking the beach.
The room we stayed in was spacious, clean and well equipped.
There is a lovely swimming pool and a decent continental breakfast is served.
Would definitely recommend if staying in the area.
Excellent B&B within 10 minutes walk from the Waterfront. Run by two Dutch men. Spacieus room with a possibility for another guestroom two doors away. Very friendly, Henk & Guido are excellent hosts. Weather permitting the breakfast is served on top of the roof with a good view of the Table Mountain. Very nice shopping mall nearby and if you...
Spent just one night and would have loved to stay longer. Small hotel which feels a lot larger and more spacious once inside. The rooms are quiet, spacious and elegantly furnished, the bed vast, bathroom well equipped and service quietly competent. Only odd thing is that the room we had (One) had no full length - or even longish -...
Booked this hotel through a travel agent in Australia before travelling to South Africa. Cape Town was our last stop for 3 nights, after doing a 3 week camping tour from Johannesburg on an overland truck - so we were very excited for a lovely hotel room, and a bit of comfort. From the outside the hotel looks outstanding. Very...
This was the first stop on our Honeymoon tour of South Africa.
David's came as a recommendation from friends who has stayed here several years earlier.
Before we arrived, David contacted us to ask whether we needed to be picked up from the airport which I thought was nice, given some people may not be comfortable driving from the airport...
The apartment is in a stunning location overlooking Hout Bay with panoramic views of the mountains. Located conveniently to restaurants and shopping area a short drive away.We were equipped with everything we asked for, including a Weber braai with brikettes ! Fridge stocked with sparkling water, a bottle of wine and orange juice. Pool was sparkling clean and swimming towels...
