We stayed here for two nights in April during our tour and were very pleased.
Checking in was easy and do not be alarmed at the noise from the casino as we were because once you are in your room you cannot hear anything at all.
The room was clean ,and had everything that you would need and a great...
My business partners and I stayed two nights at the Gooseberry, having found it on trip advisor.
The staff was exceptionally kind and attentive, the breakfast was delicious (they even waited to shut breakfast down so we could get some exercise first.
Many nice little touches, and not the tacky ones, but little things like the staff offering to bring...

I was staying at the Lodge from the 15 December 2011 to 15 January 2012. I must say it was one of my best stays in the south of Johannesburg. The staff are very friendly and all ways there to help you if you need it. The owner of the place was great, if you needed something or need to...
This couldn't have been more perfect. Gavin was amazingly helpful, both over email prior to the booking, during the process and whilst we were staying. The taxi driver met us off the place as promised and we were welcomed by the night manager with a big smile!
Our room was great, super comfy bed, loads of space and a powerful...
The Smuts 93 is a perfect hideaway in Joburg. Great setting with extremely well designed suites. Character arts and crafts type house from the twenties in a wonderful garden. This is a perfect home from home when you are on business or vaccation in Joburg.
Five A Morris is an upmarket, comfortable and extremely well run haven in the heart of the Northern suburbs of Johannesburg. This B&B is on a quiet road and has a large, well kept garden on a gently flowing river. The rooms are beautifully furnished with all home comforts, (flat screen TV and full DSTV, microwave, fridge) and are in excellent condition and squeaky clean. Members of staff are efficient, friendly and very accommodating. A gem of a find and well worth visiting.
We stayed there for a couple of days from 15/10/11 - 16/10/11. Sue was a perfect host and the staff are all very friendly and always very helpful. The rooms were very clean. Thank you Sue and all the staff for a wonderful couple of days at Melrose
Last August I stayed at the 28A on Oxford for 10 days. Elegant and cozy, the cabanas-like suites have high roofs, safety box and a pretty view over the garden, which is kept very tidy. Service is flawless and the place is beautiful, safe and very clean. The general atmosphere is serene and relaxing. The common areas are incredible, they have...
How I came to finding out about this sweet little place in a discreet corner of Johannesburg was through an Internet search for a boutique hotel.
The service from the minute I started engaging with the management was fantastic. They were accommodating and did not flinch every time - and it was a number of times mind you - I...
This was the perfect start to our one month honeymoon travelling in Africa. The ladies from Kilulu were helpful and quick at responding to emails. After some initial confusion about how we could pay for the room (they don't take credit card bookings) it was agreed we could pay cash on arrival. They arranged for a driver to pick us...
Fay is a great host and most accomodating. The rooms create a very homely feel and are very comfortable.
