The Ndemi Place
Nairobi, Kenya

I feel very betrayed by tripadvisor reviews. this place is below poor standards. I guess the reviews were biased because of the service from staff which was very efficient but not even that can move this hotel from zero star to one. 1. NO TV in the rooms, only one room which is deemed executive has a TV, the rest...

Sankara Nairobi Hotel
Nairobi, Kenya

We held a week-long event here for work. The facilities were very good, and all of the staff were extremely helpful. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and relaxing, and the rooms are nice as well. If you like golf or need excellent conference space plus accommodations, then the Windsor is a great location. If you want to see...

InterContinental Nairobi
Nairobi, Kenya

Staggeringly poor value for money. Tired and shabby rooms, awful bathrooms, mediocre food all add up to a hotel to avoid. There are better value alternates in the city.

Hotel Kipepeo
Nairobi, Kenya

Don't stay here. Check the rooms before you pay. The room are extremely small. you have only a few fewer between the wall and the bed. The rooms are not very clean. We were pushed into this hotel by a cab driver when we arrived early in the morning tired and exhausted. This was not the hotel we wanted to...

We had the chance to stay at Mirema for two occassions in the month of May 2012. On many previous trips to kenya we have stayed in many other hotels, but Mirema was an experience way different and more home. The hotel is quiet and one feels peace engulf the place. The food is fresh and you order to cook...

Sarova Stanley
Nairobi, Kenya

Travelled to Nairobi on work in April 2012. Stayed at the Sarova Stanley on recommendations of my colleagues who had been there before The pick up at the airport was well thought out, as they came equipped with a warm towel and a welcome drink. This i thought is very thoughtful, especially for travellers like us who had travelled from...

The Heron Hotel
Nairobi, Kenya

I have stayed at the Heron seven times over the past 12 months and after the last in a series of disappointments decided not again. The restaurant has not failed to disappoint every single time. Rude staff and items on the menu not available (all seven times!!!) On the second last stay, a group of very very load young americans...

Sarova Panafric
Nairobi, Kenya

Arriving the hotel in their old shuttle bus from airport and entering through an incline via a petrol station makes one apprehensive of what to expect on arrival. Staff are however very naturally friendly, smiling and heartily welcome you allaying most fears when you get to the small lobby. A cold drink, hot towels and porters made you feel like...

Trevor and staff are quite accommodating, and the lodge is very homey and welcoming, but prospective visitors need to understand that this place is far away from the center and even farther from the Sheldrick elephant orphanage, which was a particular problem for us. As "adoptive parents" of several baby elephants we were afforded the opportunity to visit with our...

The 140
Nairobi, Kenya

We very much enjoyed our time at the 140. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They always went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcomed. This was truly our home away from home. The meals were very tasty and prepared with much thought and effort. There was always more than enough to eat. Kudoos to...

Nairobi, Kenya

Modern, nice hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. Food in main restaurant delicious. One of the best places in Kenya. Only problem is that it is far from main tourist attractions.

Eden Gardens
Nairobi, Kenya

We stayed for five days at Eden Gardens in December/January, and we were quite captured by the idylle of this little family run hotel. A friendly, intimate atmosphere, and lovely, green surroundings. Absolutely to be recommended as an affordable alternative to the more impersonal chain hotels. We also loved the peaceful surroundings opening for evening and morning walks.
